Guest Speaker:

Stephanie Wiggins, Chief Economic Development Officer

Stephanie Wiggins joined Partnership Lake Houston (PLH) in July 2022 and serves as Chief Economic Development Officer.  In her position, she is responsible for promoting business, enhancing economic and community development, as well as serving as a catalyst for improving  the overall quality of life in the Lake Houston area.

Prior to joining PLH, she was Regional Manager for CenterPoint Energy’s Economic Development team where she was responsible for developing projects, driving initiatives and further strengthening their partnership with local stakeholders. With over 31 years at CenterPoint Energy, she brought a depth of real estate knowledge from her 11 years in the Land & Right of Way Department, where she was a leasing agent and held the Senior Right of Way Agent (SR/WA) Certification. In that role, she was responsible for managing relationships with developers and assisting internal and external clients with land rights issues.

Stephanie is a graduate from the University of Houston where she received her BA in Communications and currently maintains her Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).  She is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council and the International Economic Development Council.

Beyond her role in Economic Development, Stephanie embraces the outdoors, loves sports and traveling with her daughter. She also coaches little league volleyball and is an active volunteer in her community.
