Along with restoring power to 460,000+ residents in the Greater Houston Area in the aftermath of Hurricane Nicholas, CenterPoint Energy workers from the Humble Service Center delivered 185 lunches to first responders and nonprofit organizations in the Lake Houston Area. The meals were donated from the Humble Service Center as part of the company’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
Kenny Mercado, Executive Vice President, Electric Utility noted that his crews “continued to work diligently and around-the-clock to address the outages safely and as quickly as possible” during the storm restoration efforts.
