Weekly Update E-Newsletter
Each week Chamber members are sent an Weekly Update E-Newsletter with upcoming Chamber events, programs and news. This is the main communication tool of the Chamber and is distributed via email to approximately 1,200 email address every Monday, provided there is no national holiday. Members are invited to promote their happenings in the “Member News & Events” section.
Member Sponsored E-blasts
Chamber has adopted the policy of sending Member Sponsored E-blasts on behalf of our members and Lake Houston Area businesses in an effort to support them in advertising efforts. Member Sponsored E-blasts include announcements of community events, urgent business related issues, or advertising of a business or function. Member Sponsored E-blasts are $50. Contact Kathy Caves at kcaves@lakehouston,org for information.
Each month Chamber members are sent an E-Calendar listing upcoming Chamber programs and events. Events are linked so members can easily RSVP or add the event to their Outlook calendar. The calendar is distributed via email to approximately 1,100 email address. As a service to the community, the Chamber also compiles a list of area networking events (both Chamber and non-Chamber) called the Networking E-Calendar. A link to upcoming networking events is also shared in the Weekly Update E-Newsletter.
Each year the Chamber compiles a video of the previous year’s accomplishments. The 5-to-8 minute video debuts at the Annual Awards Extravaganza, and then is played for an entire year at Chamber meetings and community presentations. The video will also used throughout the year to help recruit new members and posted on the Chamber’s YouTube Channel.
